More About This Project

This thoughtfully restored home bridges the gap between its storied past and vibrant present. Originally built in 1913, the residence had fallen into disrepair, with few original character details remaining and in need of structural upgrades. Drawing inspiration from a 1940s aerial photograph, our clients chose to pay homage to their home’s historical charm. Great care was taken recreating the original brickwork, all-cedar cladding, and crafting the ornamental treatments.

Inside, a new narrative unfolded—a tale of renewal that resonated with our clients’ modern lifestyle and Scandinavian heritage. Light-flooded yet cozy spaces were created, prioritizing comfort, style, and function. The result? A contemporary family home designed to stand the test of time, and meticulously restored to reclaim its status as a beloved neighborhood treasure.
