Our Process

Your Home Your Way

When we sit down with our clients, they’ll often tell us how they’re entering a new phase in their lives. They’re looking at their homes and properties and wondering about the next step. Should they move? Should they consider building new? Should they stay and renovate?

We’re pleased to tell our clients that doing a large scale renovation to their existing homes is more environmentally friendly and more affordable than building new. This is exciting news for us to share. In addition to a beautifully redesigned home, our clients are able to stay in the neighbourhoods they love.

Our Process for Rebuilding Your Home

Step 1: Consultation

We begin with an initial in-person meeting at your convenience. During the meeting we’ll review your vision and assess the existing space. Together, we’ll work to find that sweet spot where your priorities, style, and budget meet, creating a customised plan that maximizes impact while working within your budget.

Step 1: Consultation
Step 2: Design

Step 2: Design

At Rembrandt Renovations, we believe that careful and open planning goes a long way to ensuring satisfaction and value. Once we understand your vision and any practical constraints, we can begin to develop a detailed roadmap for your renovation project. Your completed design package will include working drawings, a comprehensive budget, schedule, detailed scope of work, and specification list. At the end of the design stage, you will have a clear picture of what your project will look like, how much it will cost, and when it will be complete.

Step 3: Build

Here is where all that planning comes into play and really shines! Using the working documents developed in the design stage, Rembrandt Renovations' carpenters and team of high quality tradespeople begin the most exciting part of the work. Our project manager is on site every day ensuring your renovation project stays on time and on budget. With design work in place and our professional construction team behind you, your home renovation experience will exceed your expectations.

Step 4: Completion

We make sure our clients get the best of both worlds - practical, no-surprises expertise blended with beauty, vision, and superb workmanship.
